The impact of COVID-19 has presented us with one of the greatest challenges in our club’s history.

Your pledge or financial contribution will ensure the club emerges on our feet and not on our knees battling to survive.

Your pledge will ensure that the club can cover unavoidable costs despite the enormous downturn in revenue.

By reducing the long term impact, we will be able to compete with all clubs on an even playing field.

In addition, we will also be using part of the financial contributions from our members to cover the fees for those members who are experiencing financial hardship and simply cannot afford to support our great club like they always have, the epitome of strength through loyalty.

We understand there may be questions about whether the club or the stadium benefits from a reserved seat member pledging their membership, but we wanted to be clear that this act of generosity would be of enormous benefit to the club.

As highlighted above it means we can not just survive, but we can thrive and compete in the coming years.

Following the renegotiation of our stadium deal in 2017, the ratio of who receives the majority of this contribution has swung back in favour of the club.

All members who pledge their 2020 membership fee will receive a range of benefits across the remainder of this season and the 2021 season. These benefits include:

- Your name will feature on our banner at the first home game in 2021 where crowds can attend

- Exclusive merchandise vouchers and exclusive product drops

- Exclusive 2021 Saints Pledge membership fulfilment items

- Invitations to ‘pledge events’ including exclusive signing sessions

- Public recognition via the online pledge wall

By choosing to pledge your membership now this would mean that we would continue to process your remaining payments scheduled for the 15th of every month, ending in July or August depending on when you purchased your membership.

We have been overwhelmed by the number of members wishing to help out other Saints in need during this difficult time.

We will be using a portion of all funds pledged to cover member fees of those loyal saints out there who just aren’t in a position to continue on with their membership right now.

As we have done for 147 years, the Saints family will always be there to help each other out.

We understand that so many of our members may want to help the club through this difficult period but may not be in the financial position to pledge or prefer not to pledge the entire value of their membership.
