Match Access

A fully ticketed match is one in which all patrons are required to hold a reserved seat; general admission (GA) access is not available.

Any Home & Away season match may be designated as fully ticketed at the discretion of the home club, the stadium, and the AFL. This decision is primarily based on ticket sales and projected Member attendance and is made to ensure patron safety when large crowds are expected.

If a match is declared fully ticketed, the Club will notify Members with GA access as early as possible. In these circumstances, Members with GA access must upgrade to a discounted reserved seat in order to attend the match.

To attend a fully ticketed game, you must either:

• Hold a reserved seat membership;
• Use your Reserved Bay membership to pre-book a reserved seat ticket using your membership barcode;
• Use your GA membership to purchase a reserved seat ticket at a member only rate using your membership barcode; or
• Purchase a reserved seat ticket as a non-member.

As a general guideline, the Club strongly recommends that Members with GA access upgrade to a discounted reserved seat for high-demand or blockbuster matches, even if the match has not yet been declared fully ticketed.

Please note: General admission access is always subject to stadium capacity.

1. Locate your membership barcode number(s).
2. Visit Ticketmaster (for Marvel Stadium matches) or Ticketek (for MCG matches) and select the relevant game.
3. Choose the Club Member ticket option.
4. When prompted, enter your 12-digit barcode number(s), ensuring each barcode is entered on a separate line.
5. Select your preferred seating and choose the most suitable ticket option.
6. Follow the prompts to complete your booking.
7. Once finalised, your ticket(s) will be available in your Ticketmaster (or Ticketek) account.

Where can I find my 12-digit barcode number(s)?

• On the back of your physical membership card
• In your email (members receive ticketing reminders from the club that include their membership barcode(s))

Members with general admission (GA) access don’t need to upgrade for matches that aren’t classified as fully ticketed.

That said, the Club strongly recommends upgrading to a discounted reserved seat for games against large Victorian clubs, as these matches often become fully ticketed due to high demand.

For non-fully ticketed matches, Members with GA access can simply use their Mobile Membership or Physical Membership Card to enter the venue without pre-booking.

While the Club will always aim to notify Members when a match is likely to be fully ticketed, this isn’t always possible due to the unpredictable nature of ticket sales.

Prices vary depending on the seat location and the specific match. Please note that all pricing categories are subject to availability.

If you require accessible seating, bookings must be made through the relevant ticketing agent for the venue. Ticketmaster for Marvel Stadium matches and Ticketek for MCG matches.
